To cap off our topics of fruit and vegetables, we’re spending the final week of August looking at gardens. Many people have a deep fondness for gardening; whether it’s cultivating a flower garden, growing an orchid of fruit trees, or keeping a garden of vegetables and herbs for that authentic home-cooked taste. Gardening is a timeless tradition that plays a key role in both the identity and survival of many cultures around the world. Who knows? There just might be a few green thumbs in the classroom, awaiting their opportunity to blossom.
