At Humpty Dumpty, our Little Heroes love discovering the amazing world around them! This week, we are learning all about insects. From colourful butterflies and busy ants to buzzing bees and eight-legged spiders, there is so much to see and learn. Our Little Heroes are discovering that insects have six legs, while spiders have eight legs, and that these tiny creatures all play an important role in nature.

Learning about insects and spiders is a wonderful way to encourage curiosity, observation and early science skills. Our Little Heroes can learn through stories, songs, creative activities and exploring their surroundings. They can look closely at different insects, learn where they live, discover what they eat and talk about how they help our environment. Most importantly, they learn to observe living creatures with kindness and care.
